Telangana effect: Hari Krishna resigns

Five days after Congress Working Committee cleared the creation of Telangana, Nandamuri Hari Krishna on Sunday resigned from his post to protest the decision of the party to bifurcate the state.

Hari Krishna went to the NTR Ghat, the resting place of his late father N T Rama Rao and announced his resignation to the Rajya Sabha membership there.
