Telangana Contract Lecturers Salaries Hiked

Hyderabad: Here comes a good news for the junior contract lecturers in Telangana. The state government has hiked the salaries by Rs 10,000. Thus the lecturers, who used to draw Rs 27,000, will now will be getting Rs 37,000. The state government issued orders which will come into effect from Saturday.

Telangana legislative Council chief whip Paturi Sudhakar Reddy lauded chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s move. Nearly 3,687 junior contract lecturers will be benefited by the this move. However, it will create additional burden on the government as it incur an additional Rs 37 crore expenditure annually.
