Telangana bill reaches final stages?
The AP Reorganisation Bill -2013, intended for bifurcating the Andhra Pradesh, has reached its final stages. Sources at the Government of India have informed the bill will come before the Parliament on Monday.
The Group of Ministers (GoM) has given the finishing touches to the bill on Thursday and the bill may reach the cabinet for its nod on Friday. It is reported that the GoM has made some corrections to the bill and most of the corrections are related to giving special package to Seemandhra region.
The 42nd proposal in the bill is related to financial matters. As per the reports, some corrections were made for the proposal. The special meet of the union cabinet will be held on Friday to discuss the bill and the grapevine is the bill will be passed in this meet only.
