Telangana activists stage protest near North Block

Telangana activists staged protests and demonstrations near the North Block on Friday while the all-party meeting was being held inside in New Delhi.

Around 10 am scores of activists squatted in front of the North Block and raised slogans that the Centre should take a positive decision on the Telangana issue at the all-party meeting.

Over 40 Telangana activists were taken into custody by the Delhi police when they staged a dharna.

On the other hand, TJAC was clearly observing the events and would decided their future course of action once Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde officially briefs the media after the meeting.
