Teen rescued by police after 36 hr effort

A Chennai teenager abducted by an Andhra Pradesh-based gang was rescued by police from Prakasam district in that state after a 36 hour hunt.

City Police worked with their Andhra counterparts to nab the two culprits allegedly involved in the kidnap and are looking for three more persons in this connection, a police release here said.
The gang had allegedly abducted Jacob Sudhir on Monday following some business rivalry with his father who has been jailed for fraud.
Following the kidnapping incident, needle of suspicion pointed to certain persons from Andhra Pradesh and they were pursued by a special team, the release said.
 Following a sustained 36 hour effort with their Andhra Pradesh counterparts, they nabbed one person and rescued the boy from Prakasam district. Another person was arrested from Nellore district in that state
