WhatsApp Hacks You Didn’t Know

Do you know that there is trick in WhatsApp which will enable you to read a message without informing the sender? All you need to do is scroll down to the notification and enable the flight mode on the smartphone. Once done, just open the WhatsApp chat and read the message.

1. Read WhatsApp messages without the sender knowing

How do you disable those giveaway double blue ticks Go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Read Receipts and uncheck the option . But then you won't be able to see read receipts from other people.

Before you open the whatspp chat you want , switch your phone to airplane mode. You can now read with no alert being sent. Now exit the message before you turn airplane mode off again, and it will remain unread without the sender knowing.

2.How to recover deleted messages

If you've set up daily backup for important chats, WhatsApp will save that day's messages to the cloud. Now, if you accidentally delete messages or entire chats,you can recover it through the Chat Back option in the Chat section in Settings option.

3.Create an event on WhatsApp with our phone's calendar.

If you give a date or time for an activity in a WhatsApp chat the date will appear blue and underlined. Tap on the hyperlink and it will give you the option to Create Event in your calendar. It only works if you are specific with the dates.

You can also create an event by simply clicking on it which will take you to the option "Create Event" and let you add an event to your phone's calendar.

4.Manage Privacy Settings

The company takes care of user privacy and all basic privacy settings are controlled by Settings>Account> Privacy .

5. How to add BOLD and Italics in your text messages

This is a little tricky and you need to add certain characters for your text to stand out.

To bold text:You need to put an asterisk on either side of the word, like *this*,

For Italics : You need to put an underscore on either side of a _word_,

For Strike through add tildes just like ~this~ and you can also combine commands for *_bolditalics_* attention for grabbing eyeballs.
