Techie murder case: Accused's DNA samples not found on Anuhya
In a major setback in techie Ishter Auhya's murder case, the state forensic lab submitted a report to the police department saying that accused, Chandrabhan Sanap’s DNA samples were not found on the body of Anuhya.
Therefore, the case is now based on circumstantial evidence only. The statements of witnesses have also now became crucial in the case.
Earlier, as per investigations, Anuhya’s laptop was thrown away by Sanap from the moving train, however the same has not been traced but he police.
Anuhya, a software engineer with TCS was living in Andheri, Mumbai. She went to Machilipatnam to celebrate Christmas festival on December 22. On her way back, she went missing. The family members found the charred remains of Anuhya on January 16, near Tata Nagar Colony in Bhandup (East).
