Techie Jumps To Death From Office Building

A software engineer jumped to death from the fourth floor of her office building in Bengaluru's Whitefield on Thursday morning.

According to the police, Sobha Lakshminarayana (30), a software techie, has been working in an IT company in Whitefield. She hailed from Hulivana village in Karnataka's Mandya and was staying in the Rajajinagar area of the city.

On Thursday, she reached the office and climbed up the fourth floor. From there, she took everyone by surprise by plunging herself down. She died on the spot. The body has been shifted for post-mortem.

Sources said she had property disputes with her relatives in Hulivana and used frequently suffer depression and tension due to this. Further investigations are on.
