Teacher goes missing after election duties in Adilabad
Adilabad, A teacher, who was visiting Bellampally, Adilabad, for election duty has gone missing since Wednesday. The news came to light on Thursday.
As per Additional SI Sudhakar, D Shailaja, who lives with her husband in Sandeep nagar, Asifabad was working as second grade teacher in a government school in Movad Mandal. For elections, she was posted in Ramnagar polling station, Bellampally.
As per reports, she along with other colleagues went to Bellampally to report to duty on April 30. She also spoke to her mother, Vijayalakshmi over the phone. But, after completing her duties at about 6 pm, she went missing.
Shailaja's parents have, since Wednesday, tried to search for their daughter. They have consulted friends, relatives but to no avail. Her father, Shankar has lodged a complaint with the police and the latter have started their investigations.
