Teacher fractures student's hand for not doing homework

In yet another shameful act, a school teacher in Kakinada of East Godavari District beat a eight-year-old boy student of Ushodaya Merit School brutally fracturing his hand for not doing homework.

The incident came to light on Saturday when the student’s parents lodged a complaint with the police. The student was identified as Ajay of Indrapalem village.

Speaking about the brutality of the teacher, the victims’s parents said, “My son had gone to school without doing homework for which the teacher  thrashed him badly and  fractured his hand.”

The teacher  tried to hush up the incident. But the student’s parents lodged a complained and the police have registered a case against the teacher.

The District Education Officer said the department is conducting an an inquiry into  the incident.
