Addressing the media, he displayed evidences to support his claims that Rs 4,000 was transferred to the bank accounts of each DWACRA women in Nandyal by the state government. "I have cross-checked with banks in Rajahmundry and Palacole if similar amounts were transferred to bank accounts of DWACRA women there. No such amounts were transferred in those places. Similarly, in Kakinada where municipal elections were held such transfers did not take place," Arun Kumar said. It clearly indicates that the TDP made these amount transfers to garner the support of DWACRA women, he said and added that the issue will be brought to the notice of the Election Commission.
