TDP wins Kurnool, Prakasam district MLC seats

TDP won both Kurnool MLC seat and Prakasam district MLC seat.
TDP candidate Silpa Chakrapani Reddy was polled 600 votes against YSRCP candidate’s 474 in Kurnool MLC seat while Prakasam District MLC seat TDP candidate Magunta Srinivasula Reddy was polled 711 votes.
In spite of YRCP boycotting the Prakasam District MLC elections, their candidate Attla Chinna Venkat Reddy was polled 13votes. Earlier after nominating its candidate, the YSRCP announced the boycott. Since the date for withdrawal of nomination expired before the YRCP announced the boycott, the party could not withdraw its candidate’s nomination.
