'TDP trying to usurp Jammalamadugu by deceit'

Kadapa MP Y.S.Avinash Reddy and MLA Adinarayana Reddy blamed that the ruling TDP wants to bag municipal chairperson posts by hook or crook.
They said it was resorting to malpractices and grab the post though it does not have the required numbers.
Refering to Jammalamadugu in YSR district, they said the election to the chairperson's post was being postponed to ensure that the TDP can usurp the post.
Avinash Reddy and Adinarayana Reddy asked the officials to act in an impartial and democratic manner while conducting the election for the post of chairperson of Jammalamadugu municipality.
“It is extremely sad that the election was postponed to Friday even though there was quorum on Thursday. We believe that the election would be conducted atleast on Friday,” said the leaders.
Police forces were deployed in large number at Jammalamadugu municipal office inview of the election. The officials have imposed Section 144 near the municipal office on Friday.
