TDP to stage Dharna on October 19 in Hyd

TDP will stage a dharna at Gunfoundry in Hyderabad on October 19. The party workers will stage dharna along with the farmers demanding crop loan waiver and ex gratia to the farmers who committed suicide.

TDP leader Gandra Satyanarayana said that the delegation of party leaders have taken up issues on farm crisis and farmer suicides with the Central Ministers at New Delhi.

“There is no response from the TRS government. Our party had made best of its efforts to draw attention of the State government towards the plight of farmers, but in vain. The Central Ministers said they did not receive any report from the State government to help,” said the TDP leaders.

Gandra Satyanarayana added that TRS party failed to live up to its promise to keep the farming community well off. The leader condemned Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for not taking immediate steps to prevent the suicides.
