TDP suspends another MLA from party

The Telugu Desam Party today suspended MLA from Gopalapuram constituency in West Godavari district T Vanitha even before she formally met YSRCP honorary president YS Vijayamma or party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Sharply reacting to the action initiated against her by the party, the MLA slammed party president N Chandrababu Naidu saying she was suspended from th eparty as she raised her voice against the leadership questioning the TDP is neglecting her. Vanitha alleged that the TDP was targeting her in her own constituency and also encouraging a parallel force true to the TDP culture.

Vanitha said "despite being a woman, I was actively participating in the party activities and getting along all the cadre. Certain elements which are inimical to me did not like my growth. But I will certainly reach heights under the able leadership of Jagan," she declared.

She announced that she would formally join the YSRCP in the presence of honorary president YS Vijayamma on November 4.
