TDP Scared of YS Jagan, Says YSRCP

YSRCP spokesperson K Parthasarathi - Sakshi Post

The criticism of TDP on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stems out of the massive response he got during his visit to the East Godavari to interact with the affected people of Divis Labs and the uncharitable remarks of TDP minister carry no weight as they are meaningless, YSR Congress has said.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday party spokesperson K Parthasarathi said; ‘State Minister Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao has been speaking through his hat and is off tangent. His remarks are the outburst unable to bear the massive response YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has got from the affected people from the flow of effluents from the pharma company Divis Labs.’

The Minister stating that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has bunkers full of money at Idupulapaya has no basis. "We are prepared for a search of the area and if nothing is proved his leader Chandrababu Naidu should publicly apologize," he said.

We are always supporting any project that benefits the people and in this case, the people and their aqua culture have being affected with the flow of effluents from the Pharma Company.

Brushing aside the criticism that YSR Congress is against development, he said, ever since TDP came to power it has signed MoUs worth 4.5 lakh crores of rupees but nothing tangible has emerged after the much-hyped Partnership Summits.

We objected to the Mega Aqua Food project in West Godavari district and the first resentment came from TDP leaders only. In case of Divis Pharma, nearly 250 hatcheries would be affected and 33,000 people will lose livelihood. The company has stated that it would release 55 lakh litres of waste into the sea per day which will have an adverse effect of prawn cultivation, he said.
