TDP's loss is YSRCP's gain

In a huge blow to the TDP party in Srikakulam district, the party MLA Pedia Sairaj will be meeting YSRCP president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at 11.30 am at the Chanchalguda jail on Friday.

Along with Sairaj, ex-MLA K.Mohana Rao, Icchapuram TDP incharge Venkataramana are also expected to meet YS Jagan in jail today. They are likely to join the YSRCP soon.

Sairaj is the only MLA who won the elections on behalf of TDP. In a related development, East Godavari district TDP executive secretary, Tummala Veera Swamy Naidu has resigned from the party today.

It's a known fact that TDP MLC Boddu Bhaskar Rao from East Godavari district met YS Jagan yesterday and announced that he would soon join the YSRCP.

Soon after Boodu Bhaskar Rao met Jagan, the TDP suspended him. Protesting against the MLC's suspension, Swamy Naidu quit the TDP. He announced that he too will join the YSR Congress party soon.

It is learnt that several leaders in Coastal Andhra are planning to switch their loyalties.
