TDP MPs Vijayotsav Rally Despite Coming Empty Hands

Amaravati: While MPs of the principal opposition YSR Congress Party have been slugging out, protesting in demand for the long-pending Special Status, TDP MPs Galla Jayadev and Rammohan Naidu conducted a Vijayotsav Rally here today, despite nothing concrete has been announced for Andhra Pradesh by the Centre.

To the surprise of the locals and passersby, the TDP leaders and supporters were seen praising and hailing the MPs during the rally. While there was no mention about the special status and special package during the Union Minister Arun Jaitley's Budget speech in parliament recently, the TDP MPs enacted a drama in both the Houses of Parliament to gain mileage from the people.

While Galla Jayadev had specifically supported Special Package by downplaying the need for Special Status to the state, the TDP functionaries were seen hailing Jayadev's speech. People are perplexed as the TDP leadership conducted the rally celebrating for the MPs who returned with empty hands.
