TDP MLC Deepak Reddy Becomes Graduate Within A Year; Amasses 15,000 Crore Wealth 

Hyderabad: MLC of Telugu Desam Party G. Deepak Reddy who was sent to Chenchalguda jail on Wednesday in connection with the land scam cases, had mentioned in his 2012 election affidavit that he had completed his graduation within a year.

Deepak Reddy, who is the son-in-law of Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy, owns more than Rs 6,455 crore worth property in various places in Hyderabad.

The Crime Branch officials said that Deepak Reddy amassed a wealth of Rs15,000 crore in the form of prime lands and property in Banjara Hills, Jubillee Hills and several other upmarket areas in the city.

Deepak along with a lawyer had created fictitious persons to enter into litigation with the land owners. Using this modus operandi they grabbed several swathes of land in the city and several places in Telangana state.

Victims of other societies also came forward to file cases against Deepak Reddy.

It is learnt that Deepak Reddy managed to grab a whopping 3,128 acres in a single location in Telangana state.

• 3 acres land in Kotwal Guda near Shamshabad area.
• 8084 square yards at Banjara Hills, Road No. 12, Hyderabad.
• 13,224 square yards belonging to Deepak Reddy's wife in Banjara Hills Road No. 12
• 840 square yards in Raidurg area under Serilingampally mandal adjoining the IT Corridor
• 2400 square yards in the name of Deepak Reddy's wife in Bengaluru city.
• 16,000 square yards in the prime area of Jubilee Hills. This piece of land is in the name of his wife.

Apart from this, several criminal cases of cheating, wrongfully restraining a person, criminal trespass and criminal intimidation were also registered against Deepak Reddy.
