TDP MLA takes part in 'Aswachh' Bharat

Swachh Bharat is meant to clean the garbage. But, a TDP MLA turned it into a farce when she made the workers sprinkle some garbage on the clean front yard of a temple first and then cleaned it. The MLA passed off this farcical tokenism as Swachh Bharat.

TDP MLA Gunda Lakshmidevi attended the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan organised by the Endowments department as a chief guest at the famous Arasavilli temple in Srikakulam on Tuesday. Since the temple was already cleaned, there was nothing for the MLA to clear. So the authorities 'arranged' for the garbage for the MLA to clear. 

Sakshi photographer clicked the throwing of the garbage on a clean surface before the MLA picked up the broom. The photos showed workers bringing some garbage and throwing it at the 'arranged spot.'
The MLA and her supporters came moments later to to clean the place. This act of the MLA has drawn flak from the people.
