TDP MLA seeking anticipatory bail in murder case

Gurajala TDP MLA Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao, accused Number 3 in the murder case of Congress leader Unnam Narendra, who was brutally killed at Piduguralla in Guntur District, has submitted an application seeking anticipatory bail from the District Court in Guntur.

Sources said the MLA went underground fearing arrest. Last month, the Congress leader was murdered at Piduguralla.

Family members of the deceased lodged a complaint against Yarapatineni and the MLA was booked as the main accused in the case. Soon as the MLA learnt that the police was out to nab him, the MLA went into hiding.

According to police sources, Guntur SP has framed special teams to nab Yarapatineni.
