TDP MLA plays truant as cops search for him

Venkatagiri MLA and Telugu Desam leader Kurugondla Ramakrishna, who has a non-bailable case against him for attacking nellore District Collector N.Srikanth during the election for the post of Nellore ZP chairperson, is still playing truant as the police are on the look out for him.
A non-bailable warrant was issued against the MLA for obstructing the duties of the collector. Police searched for him at his residence. But, the MLA had already left for Hyderabad fearing the arrest by the police.
Significantly, the cops reached the MLA's Nellore home only 15 hours after he left for Hyderabad.
It may be recalled that the MLA threw away the mike set before the District Collector on the election day. It was an attempt to prevent YSRCP, which has a majority in the ZP council, from winning the ZP chief post.
