TDP MLA Kesav's followers attacked Dalits in Anantapur

Followers of Uravakonda Telugu Desam Party MLA Payyavula Kesav attacked some Dalits at a village in Anantapur district on Tuesday.

The men of the leader attacked the villagers as the latter asked the legislator the reason for not solving their drinking water problem.

The incident happened at Sulasamudram village in Uravakonda assembly constituency in Anantapur district.

Kesav went to Sulasamudram village for election campaigning. As the villagers asked about the drinking water problem there, the followers of the MLA attacked some Dalits in the village.

The attack took place in the presence of Kesav itself.

Two persons were injured in the incident and they were admitted into a nearby hospital for treatment.
