TDP men pelt stones at one another

The internecine squabbles among Telugu Desam Party leaders have reached a crescendo in Chirala .

The differences, which began during the elections between independent MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan and TDP candidate Pothula Sunitha, have increased after Amanchi tried to join the TDP.

Amanchi voted for the TDP candidate in Thursday’s municipal elections in Chirala. But, the rival TDP faction has attacked the MLA's supporters. This led to stone pelting between both the groups.

A police official was also injured in the incident. The injured have been admitted into the local hospital.
