TDP leader's house raided; Illegal spirits seized

Late NTR became an inspiration and role model for leaders of other states after he banned sale of alcohol in Andhra Pradesh. The former chief minister had even urged leaders in TDP and other parties to avoid alcohol.

However, under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu the scene is entirely different in TDP..

Excise officials conducted a raid at TDP leader Ravindra Reddy's home at Debbadigal in Ranga Reddy district and seized illegal liquor bottles worth Rs 5 lakhs.

Police took the TDP leader into custody and shifted him to a police station. They are demanding to know the source of liquor and also for how long this business had been going on.
