TDP leader, journalist caught distributing money

On the eve of municipal elections, candidates are hard at work, trying to lure voters in all possible ways.

In spite of warnings from the Election Commission, distribution of money and liquor continues unabated. Similary, TDP workers are also indulging in the same.

However, the police, have intensified their vigil and have caught red handed some Telugu Desam Party leaders and a reporter of Telugu daily Andhra Jyothy while distributing money at Narakoduru village in Chebrolu mandal in Guntur district.

Police have recovered Rs.3.7 lakhs and 77 bottles of liquor from the leaders.
