TDP headquarters wear a deserted look
If 'landslide victory was the buzzword in YSR Congress Party camps, "major debacle" were two words constantly being heard in TDP camps, after polling ended in Seemandhra on Wednesday.
The writing on the wall for TDP is pretty clear, they are looking at a decisive defeat. Reports trickling into NTR Trust Bhavan has disappointed the TDP cadre who were hoping for some positive news.
Earlier, after elections, TDP leaders and cadre would fire crackers and distribute sweets. But this time around TDP office was seen wearing a deserted look.
Even party chief, Chandrababu was sombre while addressing the press conference after polling was conducted.
On Wednesday, Chandrababu was overseeing the elections by sitting at his residence. He spoke to the several leaders over tele conference and on being told of the ground relaities he urged his cadre to file complaints with EC.
More than 40 to 50 complaints were lodged to Chief election commissioner V.S. Sampath and Chief Electoral Officer Banwarlal.
