TDP Government Imposes Prohibitory Orders In Kirlampudi 20 Days Before Mudragada’s Padayatra
With the Kapu patriarch Mudragada Padmanabham deciding to launch a Padayatra from July 26 pressing for reservations in the BC category to Kapus, the police have began clamping down from the first week of the month itself.
The police have imposed prohibitory orders in Mudragada's home turf of Kirlampudi in East Godavari district. The prohibitory orders have been issued under the Section 144. Barricades have been erected in Divili village also. Section 30 which also imposes restriction, has been imposed across the district.
Mudragada has announced that the that he would launch his padayatra seeking BC reservations for Kapus from July 26. The yatra would begin from Kirlampudi, would cover East and West Godavari and Krishna districts. On June 26, He had also released an open letter to Chandrababu Naidu on the issue of Kapu reservations. He said there was no question of going back on the padayatra.
