TDP Follows YSRCP Lead On No Trust Vote: YS Jagan

Even as Lok Sabha was adjourned following an uproar in the Lower House of Indian Parliament, YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reaffirmed his party's stand to fight for the cause of AP.
In a series of tweets, the YSRCP chief said that after 4 years of relentless struggle and fight by his party with people's overwhelming support for Special Category status to Andhra Pradesh, the entire country including Chandrababu's TDP had woken up. He also added that it was YSRCP which had
led the way and shown the path to TDP.
Check out his tweets.
For YSRCP, interest of AP & its people is paramount, & above any political upmanship. Even if YSRCP moved the No Confidence Motion first, it's immaterial whose No Confidence Motion is taken. What matters is that the rights of the people of AP is ensured and the state gets the SCS!

Even if guided by political compulsion, TDP had to yet again follow YSRCP’s lead of moving no confidence motion against the Central Govt for not granting SCS to AP. Win for democracy & people of AP. YSRCP will continue to fight for SCS, the rights of the people of AP(2/2)

It's worth mentioning here that the issue of granting of special status to AP was
raised first by the YSR Congress party chief, who spoke about it vocally from the very beginning. Meanwhile, word spread that the ruling Telugu Desam party led by Chandrababu had settled for a special package to the state instead of special category status. YS Jagan during the course of his Padayatra stressed upon the benefits the state could receive from being granted special category status, in public rallies and interactive meetings. In contrast, Chandrababu maintained that SCS to AP was no sanjeevini (magic cure) and that the issue was a closed chapter.
After the TDP made only token statements on SCS to AP now and then, without doing anything concrete on the issue, YS Jagan decided to take the next step by announcing his decision to not only move a no-trust vote in the Parliament but also let his MPs resign if the Centre didn't deliver what was promised at the time of AP bifurcation.
