TDP failed in providing succor: Jagan - Sakshi Post

Hitting hard at the TDP government for its failure to carry out relief and rehabilitation measures in the district, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that the Chief Minister has been taking people for a ride and has been continuing his policies of deception and discrimination.

"Chief Minister has come to a few villages and rushed through while officials have registered only a handful of names though every family is affected. No relief was extended though all the villagers are affected,’ he said addressing a public meeting at Musnoornagar on Thursday.

"The relief and rehabilitation works should be carried out immediately and the benefit should reach everyone, he said and demanded that the works should be taken up on a war footing as there are many complaints that the 25 kg rice is not reaching to all the affected persons."

Reiterating that Chandrababu Naidu has been continuing his policy of deceiving people by going back on poll promises from waiver of agriculture and DWACRA loans, jobs, pensions to the input subsidy which he has promised before the elections.
He said that he would give the input subsidy of Rs 1690 crores due for 2013-14 but made a U-turn and never kept his word on that count in the subsequent years. While he is threatening to pull down the houses here the Chief Minister himself has been building a house in river front ironically, he said.
