‘TDP commitment on state bifurcation is painful’

In what could be a major embarrassment to TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu, party politburo member and former minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy on Wednesday said that his party's involvement in the state bifurcation process is painful.

Participating in the APJF round table meeting at Hyderabad, he made it clear that TDP is stick to division of the State and all the party leaders were bound by party chief Chandrababu Naidu’s letter to the Prime Minister in support of Telangana state.
He took serious exception on ‘provocative’ comments of KCR against Seemandhra people living in Hyderabad.
“No one has right to ask the Seemandhra people to leave Hyderabad,” he said.
In another incident that corners Chandrababu further, TDP leader from Telangana, Errabelli Dayakar Rao came down heavily on his party MLA, Payyavula Keshav, terming him a pest to the party. Referring to latter’s statement on changing party policy on Telangana, Errabelle said he (Payyavula) was a nonentity.
