TDP anti-farmer polices flayed
Taking strong objection to the Andhra Pradesh government for not sending the drought and flood reports to the Centre, YSR Congress has said that since the government is a continuous process, input subsidy should be given in retrospective effect.
"While other states have sent their reports on drought and flood TDP government has failed to send the report on drought conditions prevailing in the state and a report on the recent floods and damage due to heavy rains,’ party Farmers" Cell Convener MVS Nagi Reddy told reporters on Thursday.
TDP has been continuing its anti-farmer policies as is evident from the fact that it has not sent the report to the Centre though it had declared 358 mandals as drought hit. "The TDP going back on paying input subsidy dues is not fair as the government is a continuous process and the dues should be paid in retrospective effect," he said.
