TD leaders pay rich tributes to NTR

Rich tributes were paid to NTR on the occasion of his 17th death anniversary as family members, party leaders

and cadre payed homage to the founder leader of TDP.
Harikrishna, Jr NTR, Purandeswari, Laskshmi Parvathi and other family members paid floral tributes at NTR Samadhi.
Balakrishna and Nara Lokesh after garlanding NTR statue at Rasoolpura flagged off a torch rally. Speaking on the occasion Balakrishna said NTR always strived for the welfare of the weaker sections.
Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, who is on padayatra at Nalgonda, paid tributes at Kodada by garlanding the statue of NTR.  He lauded the services rendered by NTR to the poor and downtrodden and high values for which the departed leader stood for.
He described NTR as leader who had rewritten history of the state and had undertaken several welfare schemes that no government ever dreamt of.
However, the solemnity of the occasion of paying homage to NTR turned out to be a scene of group rivalry coming to the fore in Visakhapatnam. The two warring groups of Bandaru Satyanarayana and Pela Srinivasa Rao clashed while paying homage to the founder leader of TDP.
Police and local leaders pacified the two groups and cooled their tempers.
