Tamil director, actor Manivannan dead

Popular director and actor Manivannan died of heart attack in Chennai on Saturday. Manivannan (59) passed away at his residence in Nesapakkam, reports said.

He is a popular comedian in Kollywood movies and acted in several Telugu movies too.
Several members from the film fraternity have offered condolences to the actior's family.
Manivannan's last film as an actor and director was the Satyaraj-starrer Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA.

Manivannan starred in over 400 films in various roles—comedian, supporting actor. The popular comedian has directed about 50 films in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
