In his first public statement after the European Union (EU) ruled that Ireland must demand euros 13 billion in taxes from Apple, Juncker said: “National authorities can’t give tax benefits to some companies and not to others.”

The petition was signed by 4.1 million people online and asked the government to call a second referendum, as the one in June garnered less than 60 per cent support for ‘Brexit.’
