T9 News Channel CEO held for job fraud

Hyderabad: The CEO of T9 Telugu News channel has been arrested on Tuesday along with two others for allegedly duping several people promising to get them government jobs.

Komi Reddy, the CEO of T9 News channel along with the Direct Recruitment Assistant at Secretariat Dara Venkateshwara Rao collected lakhs of rupees from gullible youths promising jobs in GENCO.

Two persons Srisai Venu and E. Mahesh applied for the post of assistant engineer in GENCO with the help of T. Ramesh who worked as a lab assistant at a private college.

Ramesh enticed the students promising them to secure jobs and collected Rs 5 lakh from each.They victims were later introduced to T9 CEO Komi Reddy who assured them of knowing DR Assistant at Secretariat Dara Venkateshwara Rao.

Jt. Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Station, T. Prabhaker said that the accused promised to arrange question papers to the victims and collected Rs 1 lakh each from 10 candidates promising to get them jobs under Group D services in the railways.
