T survey: Hyderabad wears a deserted look - Sakshi Post

Entire city of Hyderabad presented a deserted look on Tuesday as people kept indoors waiting for the enumerators to call on them as part of the Intensive Household Survey.

Hundreds of thousands of people left for their respective home villages to join the survey.As a result, a curfew like situation prevailed.

Buses, auto rickshaws and cars are not plying on the roads. As per the orders of the government, government offices, educational institutions, shops, petrol bunks, hotels, film theatres and other business establishments were closed on Tuesday.

However, organizations of IT and IT enabled services declared that they would work on Tuesday irrespective of the survey. They said that they would ask their employees to work in shifts today.
