T resolution in Assembly impossible: CM Kiran

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday ruled out adopting resolution in the Assembly on Telangana issue.

It was in the purview of the Central Government, so there would not be any decision on Telangana till the Congress party high command showed a solution. The Chief Minister said his Government would face the no-confidence motion and prove its strength in the Assembly. He said no party wanted to fall of the Government, but some parties who did not have rural base were trying to destabilize the Government. He said the Government would strengthen further because of no-confidence motions, he added

With regard to defiant MLAs and their resignations, Kiran Kumar Reddy said the rules would be followed and accordingly decisions would be taken. He said the leaders those who would work hard in the local body polls would be given priority in the MLA seats. Stating that Azahruddin was his close friend, Kiran Kumar Reddy said though the MIM was away, the minority vote bank was with Congress.
