T Govt slaps criminal charges against Outlook
Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma directed the officials to register a criminal case against weekly magazine.
The orders were issued in the wake of the downright derogatory writeup against IAS officer Smitha Sabharwal in the Deepthroat column.
In another development Smitha Sabharwal herself slapped a legal notice against Outlook editor in chief Krishna Prasad and Hyderabad-based assistant editor Madhavi Tata. She asked them the tender a public apology.
Several mediapersons and officials too have strongly criticized the writeup in the magazine and called for unqualified apology.
