T-Congress Leaders Sweat It Out To Make Rahul’s Meet A Success

Sangareddy: State leaders of the Congress party are going all out to make the public meeting of AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi in the district a grand success.

Several senior leaders including TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy are camping in Sangareddy since a week to oversee preparations for the public meeting. They expect a gathering of over 2 lakh people for the meeting to be held at the local Ambedkar Stadium, on Thursday evening.

The Congress vice president will arrive at Begumpet airport and will travel by road to Lingampally. After meeting state leaders there, he will proceed by road to Sangareddy. The state unit of the Congress has made arrangement for stops enroute to enable Rahul Gandhi to interact with the party cadre.

The Ambedkar Stadium in Sangareddy has already been handed over to Special Protection Group (SPG) that oversees the security aspect of Rahul Gandhi. Besides sanitising the stadium, the SPG also suggested changes to the dais and approach path to it.
