Although the entire nation is gearing up for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, it's a different picture in Andhra Pradesh. For the pro-Telangana activists in the state, it's 'Operation Telangana' that's top priority. Be it to gain political mileage or with the genuine intention of the T cause, pro-Telangana leaders from various parties are making every effort to demand separate statehood for Telangana.

The latest one to lobby for the cause is none other than our deputy chief minister Damodara Raja Narasimha. The Deputy CM met Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi on Saturday.
After the meeting, he told the media that he had discussed the T issue with the Congress president. When asked if the Telangana MPs were planning to quit party, he replied in the negative. He also said that they had just one agenda in mind—Telangana.
