T Assembly adjourned twice over power issue

Telangana Assembly resumed its second day session on Friday but uproarious scenes forced the house to be adjourned twice immediately after it assembled.

The house had to be adjourned twice, first for 10 minutes each as the opposition members raised slogans demanding discussion on the power problems. 

Even before the question hour began, the TDP and Congress members staged a protest. Amid the din, the speaker adjourned the proceedings for 10 minutes soon after the session began at 9 am. When the House resumed after the first break, the same scene continued and the house adjourned again for 10 minutes.
