'T' activists gatecrash PM's residence in Delhi

Tension prevailed near the Prime minister's residence  when hundreds of BJP activists tried to march towards PM's residence.

Pro-Telangana agitation led by party leader Prakash Javadekar reached the capital today. When they tried to reach PM's residence demanding a separate state, police had to use water cannons and tear gas shells to quell them.
As per the reports, the police also warned them against such an action as they did not have permission. The action drama happened at noon outside the Parliament Street Police Station, less than a km from the highly-fortified Parliament House complex, as the protesters marched from Jantar Mantar, where they have been holding an agitation since yesterday.
