Suspicious man taken into custody by AP police

The Police have beefed up security in various parts of AP as neighbouring state Telangana recently witnessed a couple of banned SIMI organisation terrorists planning terror activities.

In the wake of recent encounters and killings in Telangana, the police have received information that SIMI terrorists could be travelling in Tirumala Express. Based on the information, the police conducted a search operation in Tenali of Guntur district and took one person into custody.
The person, identified as Munir Ahmed, is from a village in Tamil Nadu. The police recovered two cash bags worth 50,000 each and road atlas. The police are questioning him.
