Suspension won't effect bifurcation : Botsa

“Suspension of six Seemandhra MPs of Congress would not have any impact on the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh”, said APCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana.

He said that APCC had received formal communication in this regard from their high command.

“Our MPs will take their respective regional stands in the Parliament just as our MLAs behaved as per their respective regional stands in the state assmebly”, explained Botsa.

However, he admitted that Congress is facing some difficult moments with respect to the bifurcation process.

“It is only a wrong conclusion that our party will not find candidates to contest from the seats in Seemandhra region. It is being propagated by only those Congress leaders who want to leave the party”, said the transport minister.
