Sushruta’s Father-in-law Dies Of Heart Attack In Chanchalguda Jail 

Hyderabad: The father-in-law of Sushruta, a married woman who committed suicide last week for being dragged out of bathroom naked and beaten up by husband in front of the family members in Saidabad, died of heart attack in Chanchalguda jail on Sunday morning.

Shankar Rao was arrested along with his son for humiliating and forcing Sushruta to commit suicide. A mother of two children, Sushrutha hanged herself last Sunday after texting her parents that her husband beat her up in the presence of her in-laws and other family members for using water heater.

Husband N. Mohan and his parents were allegedly harassing Sushrutha for sometime. She alleged in her Whatsapp message to her parents that father-in-law Shankar Rao was encouraging his son when he beat her up.
Police arrested both the accused on the basis of a complaint by the victim’s parents and her text message.

Shankar Rao had a severe heart attack this morning and died before any medical aid could be provided. His body was sent to post-mortem to Osmania General Hospital.
