Surprise rains soak Capital

People of Hyderabad are loving the surprise rains on Saturday which they hope to bring respite from the hot climate.  

Hyderabad was steaming for the past few days. The temperatures rose up to 42, making life harder for the denizens. Unexpected and hugely welcomed showers drenched Hyderabad city and several other parts of Telangana region. The showers started on Thursday noon and continued on Saturday.
Hailstorms in Ammerpet and Panjagutta were reported. Hayathnagar, Secundrabad, Taranaka, Nampally, Miyapur, Kukattpally, Dilshuknagar, Banjarahills areas witnessed drizzle from 6:30 in morning till 8:00 am. They brought respite to the citizens from the sweltering heat. Several trees were uprooted in parts of the city and water logging was reported in many places.
