Former personal secretary of late chief minister Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, Sureedu, may contest for the upcoming assembly elections from Kukatpally constituency.
As per the reports, former advisor to Government of Andhra Pradesh, K.V.P.Ramachandra Rao, is trying to bring ticket to the ex aide of YSR.
An English daily published a report about Sureedu getting the ticket from the key constituency in the city.
If the grapevines are to be believed, Sureedu has met AICC Incharge of Congress Affairs Digvijaya Singh recently.
As per the reports, there was a hand of KVP in the appointment of Ponnala Lakshmaiah as Telangana PCC chief. Earlier the name of Jana Reddy was heard for the post. But, his name was omitted later.
However, KVP rejected the news that he was behind the appointment of Ponnala in the top post of Telangana Congress.
