Supreme Court serves notices to KCR

Advocate M.L.Sharma moved supreme court asking it to stop the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

He filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the apex court saying that the Government of India had bifurcated the state without an unanimous decision on the matter.

SC  informed the petitioner that all the petitions on the matter will be taken up simultaneously.

The court reminded that they had already served the notices to the centre. It said that it would take up the matter once they got the reply from the centre.

TRS president K.Chandrasekhar Rao is the fourth respondent in the PIL filed by Sharma and so the court served the notices to the TRS chief too.
