Supreme Court Judges’ Letter to CJI: Full Text

For the first time in history four senior judges from the country's top court, held a media conference to address 'less than desirable' matters with respect to the judiciary. The press meet was held at judge Chelameswar's house. The four Supreme Court Judges include Kurian Joseph, J Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi and Madan Lokur.

The judges said that they had submitted a letter to Dipak Misra, the Chief Justice of India. Justice Chelameswar said: “We collectively tried to persuade the CJI that certain things aren't in order so take remedial measures but unfortunately our efforts failed."
